Please note that Preventive Nutrition Services are covered under Health Care Reform Act, and being informed about your nutrition counseling benefits is within your rights as a beneficiary. The agencies that set forth the preventive care guidelines are the Advisory Committee on immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); The United States Preventive Services Tasks Force (USPSTF); Health Resources and Services Administration: and the American Academy of Pediatrics/Bright Futures/Health Resources and Services.
